HOW TO CHANGE THE START BUTTON NAME IN WINDOWS XP..??

     Now we will see how to change the Start button name in Windows XP.

1. If you want to restore your Start button Name to Default, later Copy the Explorer.exe file from Windows folder in System Drive to any other location like Desktop.2. Open Hex editor like Resources Hacker.



2. Next go to File and Click on the Open. Then select Explorer.exe file from where you have copied previously.

3. Expand the String Table and then Double Click on the 37 and Select the 1033 on the Left side panel."



4. In the Right side you will find the word "start". Now you have to Replace that "start" with your desired name. And click on Compile Script. NOTE: THE NAME SHOULD BE LESS THAN 5 CHARACTERS. 5. Save the File and Exit. Now Rename this explorer.exe  to explorer1.exe and put this on Windows Folder in System Drive. You should be careful don't replace the default explorer.exe

6. Now we have to edit Registry. Got to Run and type "regedit" with out quotes.7. Now in the Right side pane Expand the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" and then Software ---> Microsoft ---> Windows NT ---> Current Version --> Winlogon. Then Select and Double click the Shell option in the Right side pane.

8. Here you have to mention the name explorer1.exe and click on OK.9. Close the Registry Editor and Reboot System Once.

HOW TO FORMAT THE REMOVABLE DISK IN NTFS FILE SYSTEM..??

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS IN FORMATTING THE PEN DRIVE IN NTFS FILE SYSTEM .
        First we you have to why we are formatting the pendrive in NTFS( New Technology File System ) file system. Why beacause in NTFS file system we can store a file of size upto 64 TB, where as in FAT32 4 GB. The data security also possible here. In NTFS Compression is available.


HOW TO FORMAT THE PENDRIVE IN NTFS FILE SYSTEM IN WINDOWS XP..??


1. By default There no option enbled for any pendrive to format in NTFS filesystem in Windows XP. See the Following Picture. So Now we have to enable that option.

2. Insert Pen drive. Open Run and type devmgmt.msc and then Enter.
3. Expand the Disc drives and Right click on the Pendrive and select Properties.

4. Then Click on the Policies tab And Select the option Optimize For Performance. Then click on the Apply and OK.

5. Now check this Out. Open My Computer and Right click on the Pendrive And Click on the Format and See...

HOW TO INSTALL THE OS IN VMWARE..??

What is VMware ..?

         VMware is power tool which is used to install another OS in the existing OS Virtually. It takes Memory from the RAM. You can install many OS's in one OS also.

How To Install The OS In The VMware..??

1. Install VMware in your OS. And Run it, It seems like the following.

2. Now Click on the 'New Virtual Machine' . Then the following Window will appear.

 

3. There you will Find Two Options like 'Typical (recommended)' and 'Custom (advanced)'. It is better to select Typical Settings. Then you will find the following Window. Then click on the Next.

 

4. There you will find three options. Install from:  Installer disk: or Installer disc image file (.iso):  or I'll install OS Later. You will select any of the Options according to the resources you have. If You have CD, Select 1st Options or select second option. And then click on the Next.


5. If you have not get like this, You will get the following Window. That means the VMware has not identifies your OS. Then you have to select the OS type and Version Manually. And click on the Next.

6. Select The Name for your OS in the Virtual machine, And enter a User name and Password. And click on Next. Then you will find the following Window. Then click on the Next.

 

7. Then you will find the following Window that shows the Default Location of the virtual machine OS. Here no need to change any thing. Click on the Next.

8. Here You have specify your Disk Space. You can Select Up to 2TB, But when You stores the data it'll take the Space from your Physical Hard drive. Click on the Next.

9. It'll show Configuration of the Virtual system and click on the Finish. Then It'll start the installation Process.

How to Open the applications Fastly in WinXP.....???

      You can Open the Applications in the WinXp fastly by Opening them using Run Command. Now the Question is How to open them using Run Window. Here's the Solution. 

1. Right Click on Desktop, point to New and click on the Shortcut

2. Click on Browse tab and select Path of the Application or software and click on the OK. Generally -->My Computer --> Local Disk(C): --> Program Files.

3. Choose a Name for the Shortcut And click on the Finish.

4. Cut this Shortcut and paste in the Windows Folder in the System drive. To go to system drive open Run window and type \ and enter


5. Now open the Run window and type the name of the shortcut which you given previously and press enter.

How to Reduce Size of The Multiple Images at Once WITHOUT LOOSING IT'S QUALITY..???

            If you want to upload the multiple Images to the WEB which are taken from any type of  Digital Camera, It'll take much time. Because the images are big in size each will be in the order of 5 to 6Mb. Then you can reduce their size in just 4 to 5 mins depends on your system configuration With Out Loosing the Qulity.
First you have to run the Photoshop CS1 or later versions. In those versions you can run inbuilt script to automate the image process. Let's see how can we reduce the size in a simple way.


1. Open the Photoshop CS2 (I have this one You can open any version from CS1)

 

 2. Goto the File then Point the Scripts and click The Image Processor.

3. On other hand Move the photos to which you want to reduce the   size, to One Folder.
4. Now move to Photoshop Window and Click on the Select Folder button and Select the Folder Which has the Photos.

5. Select The Location where you want to save output photos.
6. Click on Save as JPEG and select the Quality as low as you want (It will not Decrease the Original Quality of the Picture even if u put the value 0).
7. Click on Run. That's it The Process will Run and you will get your images with low size.
